Hadith of the prophet (PBUH)

Meaning
Tariq ibn Shihab reported: A man asked the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, “What is the best jihad?” The Prophet said, “A word of truth in front of a tyrannical ruler.”

The reason I choose this Hadith as my favourite Hadith is because it is short and it is full of lesson . Although all the Hadith of the prophet (PBUH) is full of lessons and morals
This particular Hadith teaches us to always speak the truth in our life no matter what the situation is. And also we should learn to be truthful, honest and sincere, Cause it gives us rest of mind and protect us from the punishment of the Almighty.
May Allah ( SWT) give us the ability to always speak the truth always. Ameen

Appreciate it

Barak Allahu feek brother for the reminder!
Here’s a similar hadith:

The master of the martyrs is Hamza ibn Abdul Mattalib, and a man who stands (in front of) an oppressive ruler and enjoins the good and forbids the evil and so is killed for it (Hakim)

These are about accounting the rulers. Here’s some commentary of these two ahadith to help us understand it more.
