Tahajjud! Why is your dua favored more at this time?

On a global scale not every country will be night and vice versa,so if u wake up for tahajud,it’s not like the whole world is sleeping,i know that you sacrifice your sleep for the creator.it’s the questions that confuses me,ie:

Reported By Abu Hurayrah:

The Messenger of Allah(saw) said:"Our LORD descends to the lowest heaven during the Last Third of The Night, inquiring, "Who will call on ME so that I may Respond to Him? Who is asking something of ME so I may Give it to him?,Who is Asking for MY FORGIVENESS so I may FORGIVE HIM…

"So does that mean the creator comes down several times in a 24 hour period, surely all around the world someone wakes up for tahajud, which means there is daylight somewhere else,so there are a couple of million people awake, whilst others are perfoming tahajjud at the same period of time on the universe.

Praise be to Allaah.

Tahjjud prayers and it’s timings are prescibed and proven by Qur’an, Seerat and Sahie Sunnah o Hadees. This is the most rewarding ‘voluntarily’ prayers and has the highest reward after ‘obligatory’ prayers. The Tahajjud timings remains the same, even though it starts at different times in different countries. So in the Arab lands it may begins when it’s late night or last part of night in those countries, and in African countries it also begins in the late part of night as per there time, and so on. Whenever the said time comes in the said location in a people’s land, it begun for them, even if it may seems different worldly timings to us.

One of the qualities of Allah is Al-Qadir - The All Powerful, He who is able to do anything in the way He wills. Hence, there is nothing impossible for Allah - his capability is beyond our thoughts for we think through our brain which is in itself created y Allah - hence, our brain do not have the capacity to encompass the capabilties of Allah.

It appears in Surah Al-Maida, ayat # 17 : [interpertation of the meaning]

“For to Allah belongs the dominion of the heavens and the earth and all that is between them; He creates what He wills. Allah is All-Powerful”

Same is true for Laylat-ul-Qadr: So for one group of people their night is regarded as Laylat al-Qadr, then for the next group of people, their night is regarded as Laylat al-Qadr. And there is no reason the angels cannot descend to one group of people and also another.

And Allah knows best.

The Holy Qur’an has laid down the importance of waking up for prayer at night. Allah has said:

17:79 And in some parts of the night (also) offer the Salat (prayer) with it (i.e. recite the Qur’an in the prayer), as an additional prayer (Tahajjud optional prayer - Nawafil) for you (O Muhammad صلى الله عليه و سلم). It may be that your Lord will raise you to Maqam Mahmud (a station of praise and glory, i.e. the honour of intercession on the Day of Resurrection.) .

73:6 Verily, the rising by night (for Tahajjud prayer) is very hard and most potent and good for governing oneself, and most suitable for (understanding) the Word (of Allah).

76:26 And during night, prostrate yourself to Him (i.e. the offering of Maghrib and ‘Isha’ prayers), and glorify Him a long night through (i.e. Tahajjud prayer).

There is a very beautiful Hadith in Sahih Bukhari which also lays down the importance of Tahajjud prayer:

Narrated Abu Huraira: Allah’s Apostle said, "When it is the last third of the night, our Lord, the Blessed, the Superior, descends every night to the heaven of the world and says, ‘Is there anyone who invokes Me (demand anything from Me), that I may respond to his invocation; Is there anyone who asks Me for something that I may give (it to) him; Is there anyone who asks My forgiveness that I may forgive him?’ " (Book #75, Hadith #333)

So Allah has stressed that He is the one Who witnesses the Tahajjud prayer and gives special forgiveness and acceptance to the du’as done at that time.
